Phyllis Marie Barker, 71, passed away on January 6, 2018 in Fort Worth, Texas. She passed peacefully at home with her husband Randall Barker of 47 years by her side. She was a loving mother, friend to many, and cherished by all who knew her. She was born to Hubert and Rosa Bellinghausen on March 6, 1946 in Haskell County, Texas.



Phyllis graduated from St. Scholastica Academy in Fort Smith, Arkansas in 1964 and moved to Fort Worth, TX where she met Randall M. Barker. Phyllis and Randy married in 1970 at St John...

Phyllis Marie Barker, 71, passed away on January 6, 2018 in Fort Worth, Texas. She passed peacefully at home with her husband Randall Barker of 47 years by her side. She was a loving mother, friend to many, and cherished by all who knew her. She was born to Hubert and Rosa Bellinghausen on March 6, 1946 in Haskell County, Texas.



Phyllis graduated from St. Scholastica Academy in Fort Smith, Arkansas in 1964 and moved to Fort Worth, TX where she met Randall M. Barker. Phyllis and Randy married in 1970 at St John The Apostle Catholic Church in North Richland Hills, TX.



She enjoyed spending time with loved ones and working in the medical field retiring from Retina Consultants in 2002.



Phyllis is survived by her husband, Randy of Fort Worth, Texas; Todd and Erika Barker along with Dustin, Alexis and Savannah of San Diego, California; Ty Barker along with Kailey and Meagan of Hurst, Texas; her brothers, Urban Bellinghausen of Munday, Texas, Alvin Bellinghausen of Amarillo,Texas, Charles Bellinghausen of Justin, Texas and sister, Catherine Pavlicek of Colleyvillle,Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews and many loved ones. She was preceded in death by her eldest son, Robert M. Barker; brothers, Wilfred, Herbert, Bill, Fr David; and sister, Ilene.



Visitation will be held from 6-8pm on Wednesday January 10th, 2018 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Thursday January 11th, 2018 at 12:30pm at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home Chapel with a grave site prayer to follow at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville, Texas.
