James "Eric" Morse a resident of Lakewood Village, TX, passed away unexpectedly on September 12, 2017 at the age of 50.





Eric was born in Baton Rouge, LA on February 15, 1967 to J. Earl and Billie Morse. He graduated from Nederland High School in 1985 and most recently worked as Operations Manager for Xpress Global. Eric was born in Baton Rouge, LA on February 15, 1967 to J. Earl and Billie Morse. He graduated from Nederland High School in 1985 and most recently worked as Operations Manager for Xpress Global. Eric was a lifelong fan of his beloved Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed spending time with his family camping at Broken Bow, OK and trips to the Texas Coast. All who knew Eric know that he was hard to beat at pool, quick with a joke and front row for his favorite music. Eric will always be known for his dry wit and sarcastic sense of humor but most of all his big heart.





Eric is survived by his parents, J. Earl & Billie Morse of Colleyville, TX, wife Kelli Morse of Lakewood Village, TX, his sons Jacob Eric Morse and Justin E. Morse of Carrollton, TX, son Marcello Chapa & wife Monica of Euless, TX, daughter Jessica Chapa & fiancÚ Jacob Ervin of Arlington, TX and his faithful dog Zoey. He also leaves behind his sister Susan Morse Morris and her Husband Geoff Morris of Carrollton, TX. In addition, Eric is also survived by his Mother-in-Law, JoAnn Shinneman and extended family.





A funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday at 3PM on September 19, 2017 at the Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home at 5725 Colleyville Boulevard, Colleyville, TX 76034.
