Alla Mae Smith 96 passed away on June 11, 2017. 7:00 -8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, 2017. Funeral: 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Paris, Texas.



Alla Mae was born on November 20, 1920 in Lamar Ct. Texas. She attended East Texas State University in Commerce, Texas. Alla Mae graduated with a Master’s degree in Secondary Education. She taught English in Blossom and Cunningham Texas. Alla Mae was a woman of faith; she attended church at Ramseur Baptist Church in Paris, Texas...

She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years Chester Smith, and daughter Peggy Blackburn.



Survivors: daughter Judy Adams, husband Eddie, grandchildren; Donna Moffitt, Gina Blackburn, Kevin Adams, and Kimberly Rogers, great-grandchildren; Matt Moffitt, Ashley Moffitt, Chase Rogers, Alexis Rogers, Cason Rogers, Baleigh Adams, Presleigh Adams and Ryleigh Adams, 1 great-great grandson Eli, along with a host of extended family.
